Yemen Dhamari Anesi
This coffee, assembled from a variety of small farms situated in the Bani Dhamar area south of the capital Sana'a, is a bit of a maze on the palette. Notes include rustic cocoa nibs, dried banana, aromatic cedar, cola, clove and cinnamon, to name just a few! A treat for the more daring and a wake up call for those who claim that all coffees taste the same. Like all Yemeni coffees, this one is best with 48 to 72 hours rest post-roast.
